She is one of the rare disciples to have been at the crucifixion, shedding all her tears for He who offered Himself on the cross. On Easter morning, Saint Mary Magdalene realises that the gardener is the Christ resurrected. He asks her to announce His resurrection to the others which awarded her the title of Apostle of the Apostles.
